Please join us in celebrating Absalom Jones, the founder of the first Black Episcopal congregation in the United States in 1794. He was the first African American to be ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church of the United States and is listed on the Episcopal calendar of saints.

The Rev. Ollie Rencher, rector of Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and School in Memphis, TN, will be the guest preacher.
